Sheeps Wool Insulation by Thermafleece. Their Cosywool rolls are an easy to use sheeps wool insulation, supplied in compressed packed rolls for quick installation.  Made from 75% sheep wool, 15% recycled polyester, and 10% polyester binder with a high recycled content, the Cosywool Rolls have all the benefits of sheep wool, while remaining a very affordable, non itch insulation. A truly sustainable insulation produced using British Wool and manufactured in the UK. Great for loft insulation, wall insulation and floor insulation. It has high acoustic insulation properties so it is also great for partition walls, campervans and as part of a soundproofing system. “I bought 4 rolls of the 50mm thick sheeps wool insulation and I'm almost done installing. It was lovely to work with, easy to cut and shape to my irregular loft joists. It has floofed up to its full depth after just a week. I had a horrible time getting the old fibre glass stuff out first, so really felt the contrast between the toxic unhealthy effects of handling that stuff and the delightfully soft, sheep-scented experience of the natural wool. I will certainly be buying more when I can increase the depth of my joists. Buying sheeps wool products supports sheep farming and the UK wool industry, and I know I 'd rather spend my money there than giving it to corporations that churn out toxic chemicals. We are surrounded by micro plastics and forever chemicals and we need to do everything we can to fight against the universal use of such poisons. Get natural everything for your house and be the change. 10/10.”

Thank you for your review, Alex. We’re glad it does. All sheep wool insulation does have a natural sheep scent upon opening it and it can last for a few days, but the scent does dissipate. This can vary between batches due to the variability of the fleeces used (Some sheep have a stronger scent than others!). “I used it to insulate under a sun room floor. A quality product. Easy to cut to size, compressing into the smallest spaces, whilst remaining lofty between joists & elsewhere. Soft & non irritating, MUCH better than fibreglass. I love that it’s a natural byproduct too. I’ll buy more when I get round to insulating the floor under the house proper.”
