Sheeps Wool Insulation by Thermafleece. Their Cosywool rolls are an easy to use sheeps wool insulation, supplied in compressed packed rolls for quick installation.  Made from 75% sheep wool, 15% recycled polyester, and 10% polyester binder with a high recycled content, the Cosywool Rolls have all the benefits of sheep wool, while remaining a very affordable, non itch insulation. A truly sustainable insulation produced using British Wool and manufactured in the UK. Great for loft insulation, wall insulation and floor insulation. It has high acoustic insulation properties so it is also great for partition walls, campervans and as part of a soundproofing system. Sheep wool insulation has a very low embodied energy, and acts as a moisture buffer by absorbing and releasing excess moisture (can absorb up to 30% of weight for weight in 100% relative humidity conditions). Like all Thermafleece wool products, it is long-lasting, safe to handle, itch free and can contrib...

Product was as expected. Difficult to effectively cut without insulation saw. We laid it on top of existing insulation and raised some loft legs to create an access board. Pleasant product to handle and lay. We shall see how much benefit it creates over time . Pleased to use natural product .

This is a lovely product. I wanted to use a natural product, wool has so many amazing properties. Thermafleece is very easy to deal with. I found the it pulls apart easily to the correct length, where cutting it was awkward. It has made my loft feel like a welcoming space. I like the slight sheepy smell, but I am expecting that to fade with time. I don't know yet if it will make my home easier to heat, I'm hoping so!

Love this product - have used it multiple times. So easy to install, highly effective, and better for everyone than any of the fossil fuel-based alternatives.

Used between rafters - easy to apply - I found ToughBuilt ProGripShears the best way of cutting - in the loft you do need a basic mask - it sheds like crazy - little whiskers literally like you have been shaving - as other post you end up covered in it and I would not want to breathe it in. Overall great product I think though would be nice not to have any nasties in it at all and if it were available in different pack size/from places with smaller delivery fees.

Fantastic product - it looked so cosy and warm I could have made a bed out of it instead of putting it under the floorboards!

Purchased two rolls of the Thermafleece Sheep’s Wool insulation to insulate a timber stud wall that separates an unheated crawl space from my living room. Product was easy enough to work with and I was very pleased at first. I installed it during the recent cold snap with temperatures of around 3 degrees each day. The weather lasted like that for about a week after I had installed the product. Yesterday the weather changed.... It went from cold and dry and to mild and wet. I was out of the house during the day but when I returned, I instantly noticed a very strong smell. My flat now basically smells like being on a farm. It's not a faint smell either it's a strong noticeable pungent smell… its first thing that hits you as you come in the front door and it is definitely coming from the insulation. I live in a city, but it smells like I am stood in the middle of my uncles’ farmyard. I'm really surprised by how strong it is, I had read before purchasing that there could be some faint smell, but this feels extreme. I wouldn’t be inviting anyone over at the moment as I would be embarrassed because the smell is so strong. I am hoping that this is just something to do with the change in weather and it will be a temporary issue that will fade over time…. as I say for the first week or so there was no smell at all. But if it was to persist like this or reoccur every time there are certain weather conditions then I'll have to remove the insulation and install a different product as it's not something I could live with long term.

Really good product very happy handling it, needs a very sharp knife to cut, it's very dense in texture, far better than rockwool or glass wool which is also allegedly carcinogenic!

Great product, just about to place my second order. I like it because it is much easier to use than the alternatives; it maintains its integrity and strength. For example this Christmas we borrowed an inflatable hot tub in the garden for a week and each night I wrapped the Thermafleece around the tub in two stories so to speak and even after one week of this handling the Thermafleece was still almost as good as new. And where it did get wet that didn't seem to make any difference. Also up in the loft it unrolls much easier than the alternatives, and it is so pleasant to use. I have also been using it under the ground floor by going into the crawl space under the floor and it is so good for that. I have been fixing it using 25mm of celotex underneath and insulation washers to keep it in place.
