Supaloft Insulation is manufactured from 95% recycled PET (recycled plastic bottles), the same fibres used in many duvets, jackets, etc.  It's a totally safe to handle low energy alternative to Rockwool and fibreglass.  Supaloft provides excellent thermal insulation performance, supplied in rolls of up to 150mm that fit securely between rafters, joists and studs. “Arrived very quickly. Ordered 2 x 100mm and 2 x 250mm rolls - Only down side was the outer packaging didn't provide any indication as to which was which. Also instead of it being green it was actually white which made me wonder whether what I had received was actually what I had ordered. Once I had stripped off the outside packaging the inside packaging had the spec. written on it. It was very clean and even with the back-lighting from a 150W halogen when you cut or tore it to a bespoke length there was very little airborne dust. I would still suggest you wear a dust mask, gloves but though I chose to wear a coverall this proved over kill for the job. This really is a cleaner more user friendly product and when fitted proved amazingly effective. Other than the lack of information on the packaging I would have given it five stars. One additional idea - why don't the manufacturers of insulation include a perforated divide every 1m or 0.5m along its length? I'll take a percentage!!”
