SupaSoft recycled plastic insulation is manufactured from 95% recycled PET (recycled plastic bottles), the same fibres used in many duvets, jackets, etc. It's a totally safe to handle low energy alternative to Rockwool and fibreglass.  SupaSoft provides excellent thermal insulation performance, supplied in rolls of up to 100mm that fit securely between rafters, joists and studs. Easily handled, cut into correct dimensions and itch-free. It's lovely to work with compared to the usual itchy stuff. I would consider a mask if you need to tear it up a lot though - the plastic dust isn't very nice to breathe, although significantly nicer than the usual stuff, still!

Very easy to fit. Bit fluffier than the wool fleece blend insulation but I only needed a small amount for a roof job so it was spot on.
