While in bloom, removing any spent flowers as they fade will help the plant conserve energy and allow the remaining flower buds to put on more growth. Use sharp pruners or scissors and trim the spent heads at a 45° angle. Once finished flowering remove any dead branches and give the rose a prune. Only take off about a third of the plant. This will help it grow back just as strong.
Due to the nature of indoor roses they will go through a dormant period at some point during the year. This is completely natural and nothing to worry about. Once out of its dormant stage it will start to flower again.
