Choisya ternata is a low maintenance medium-sized evergreen shrub that has a rounded growing habit, ideal for hedging. It boasts vibrant, dark green foliage and fragrant, star-shaped white flowers during the months of May, August and September.
Choisya plants grow best in full sunlight in well draining soil, but they will tolerate part shade, but the leaf colour will be less vibrant and less flowers will be produced during the flowering season – than those planted in full sun. Choisya ternata are also very tolerant of difficult growing conditions, including coastal gardens.
