HIGH YIELDER – The highest yielding by far. Ribes ‘Blanka’ produces masses of large, sweet berries on long strings from late July through to August.
LONG CROPPING – Currants have a long cropping season, freeze well and are perfect for pies and jams. From the second season onwards each plant will produce over 3.5kg of fruit
WELL WATERED – Keep ribes plants well watered during dry periods, particularly as the fruits are developing. Netting the bushes will help to protect the currants from birds. Currants can be harvested from July.
