The Gaujard was bred by Jean-Marie Gaujard in France in 1957. He came from a long line of horticulturalists and rose breeders starting with his great-grandfather who was head gardener at Versailles in 1698.
This rose bush has a bushy habit with glossy, dark green leaves bearing scrolled urn-shaped buds opening to lightly fragrant, semi-double to double flowers with cherry red petals with a silver reverse.
PLEASE NOTE – Rose bush may not be in flower at time of dispatch and our roses bushes are cut back from SEPTEMBER-APRIL every year to help maintain a strong plant.
