“Condition on arrival was not great. Not much soil in the pot. I have repotted it and although there have been a couple of new shoots she looks a little limp and sorry for herself! I am not as hopeful with her as I am the Christmas Cactus but we shall keep trying”

“As you can see from the photo my sister sent me (jpeg attached), the plant she received looks nothing like Carbeth Plants’ own photo! I really love the Tradescantia Pallida, but I was disappointed when my sister sent me a photograph - the long, purple leaves I was expecting are definitely missing from this plant. Is it actually a Tradescantia Pallida, I wonder? I also chose the grey pot to set off the dark purple leaves - perhaps you could reassure me? Once the plant settles in its new environment, will the beautiful purple leaves develop so that it resembles the photo from Carbeth Plants own website?”
