“I communicated with Carbeth plants as I wanted my tree delivered on the 15th December. There was nowhere in the order to put this information, but I was told I needed to order soon or I might miss out. I emailed to make sure the dates would be ok. My tree arrived 3 days later at the end of November. I ordered a 4ft tree. Measuring bottom of roots to the top it is 3ft 8 inches. There were dead branches at the bottom, which when removed has given the tree a very odd shape. The top of the tree only has foliage to one side and has a very long spindly single branch taking up to the height of 3ft 8 inches. I chose this variety on the advice of the company for its stronger Christmasy smell, it has no fragrance at all, nothing ☹️. To say that I am disappointed would be an understatement, especially as this tree was more than twice the price of those sold at the local garden centre and theirs are nicer. I chose to order as couldn’t physically transport a tree from the local garden centre and this could be delivered. I’ll stick my old artificial tree up next year as it will look better and smell just the same. Photos attached”
