“Ordered this baterry from Carparts4less and be delivered to a local Euro Car Parts store.
At the collection point I was given a dead battery, with no plastic cover on the terminals and not tested at all.
Fortunately I had a multimeter in the car and after checking it proved my gut feeling. Went back to explain and was told immediately this is not possible, what tests I've done and they will prove me wrong testing with their own equipment
Response was "we will provide you another battery" - they kept the readings for themselves
Was given another battery which looked indeed brand new, not scuffed, with plastic covers on terminals and voltage 12.8
Well done guys, trying to get rid of old stock or products from customer returns whilst charging your customers the price or a brand new product
