Thanks for the great review. In our experience, the sizing is appropriate IF you're using the robe in the way it was originally designed - Get in it. Zip it up and take your clothes off. BUT most people arent doing that! If like me you use it as a piece of 'bank wear' - a warm weatherproof layer to put on over my wet gear while I tie boats on and go to the pub (I have no shame) then going down a size is my top tip.
