“We normally buy logs and Hotties as you know from our account, anyway we thought we would give the Hot Blox a trial, we know they are not a Hotties replacement but thought we would give them ago. We have two fires, 1- wall insert type with doors, 2- open fire no doors Comments : 1- Found the Hot Blox very dusty, dust every were when we were taking them out of the packaging, in fact after the 4 item, i took them outside, dusted them and then put them into a plastic carrier bag, was better but still dust on the floor when putting them into them into both fires. 2- Insert Fire, would say they were ok but if left to long after burning flames, it was difficult to get next one to light up, so we added wood log between each Hot Blox. 3- Open fire, ok if used with logs. All in all not as good as a Hottie ( not same I know ) but also very much more dust coming of the item. Would we buy them again - sorry but no.”
