Excellent product with a big amount of heat

As with all briquettes these have characteristics of their own. Half a few and start with kindling and two halves spaced out to start. They start well and have a good heat with a good burn time. I split the pallet with someone and they are also happy. Possibly they soot the glass more but we are just getting used to burning them. It's just soot and very easily wiped of with a crumpled paper as its not resin residue

Cheapest I could find and no surcharge for delivery even to the Highlands of Scotland so well done Calido. Delivery was super quick even for a full pallet and on the day requested. Full marks.

Many thanks for our order. Delivery person exceedingly helpful. Very happy as usual with the order. However the plastic wrapping the individual packs were all stuck together, possibly to keep them secure during transit. It meant some wrapping split while unpacking. Also Hotties not as tightly compressed as previously. They sometimes fall apart meaning they burn a lot quicker. Wonder if other customers have noticed.

Hi Christine, thank you for your review. The packing shouldn't have been stuck together. I have noticed this on some of the pallets we sell in the shop and I think it may be down to the fact that the packs been stacked on the pallets when the briquettes are still hot after coming out of the briquetting machine. I haven't noticed or had any feedback to say the Hotties weren't as well pressed as before. If you could send some photos to sales@calidologs.com that would be appreciated. I can then forward these to the manufacturer and I'll raise both points with them. Kind Regards, John Farrell Calido Logs and Stoves

So far these are the best heat logs I have used. Burn hot and long and are good value so long as the price doesn't increase.
