“Delivery was good and price fine. This is my first order. The logs in the crate are very variable. They burn well enough but vary in size which is not what I expected so that I need to split quite a lot but for some reason quite a few are, instead of being say 6/7 inches round, many are 'flat' so that they are maybe 2/3 inches one way and 7/8 inches the other way. Weird and not ideal for burning.”

“Yes they burn well but many are far too large and are difficult to split. for my stove. As already said I want you to please swop these weight for weight with smaller logs. I ordered over the phone giving my card number, the sale went through very quickly and there was no chance to say I can't use large logs If I order again, it will be over the counter at your shop. I will not give my card details over the phone again. I am willing to talk about this with the owner of Calido but want to remain anonymous.”

“Amazing quality of logs and service all the way through to delivery. Logs burn beautifully with the most intense heat. We (including the dogs :-))) have never experienced such cosy nights in front of the fire over the cold months. Many thanks again.”
