The logs arrived in a crate as expected, with a good range of different sized logs. I checked the moisture content of a number of the logs and they averaged 15-16% moisture. The logs burn really well and for a considerable time (depending on size of course). It is my first time using the waxling fire lighters....the juries still out on those at the moment and can't comment on the kindling quality as have not used any of it yet. Talking of kindling, if you are prepared to spend the time dismantling the crate, cutting and splitting the crate planks, then you can get a fair amount of kindling from it, saving you money and a trip to the local recycling centre.
