This essential heavy gauge stainless steel lid has been specially made to fit for the Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Canteen Cup (product code RC512). Designed to be resilient and to keep heat in, reducing boiling times and fuel usage. NOT suitable for the Crusader Cup.Size: 10cm x 8.5cm (approx). Weight: 58g. Colour: stainless steel.

“This lid in principle is a good piece of kit to have for the canteen cup. However if you are boiling water to heat your ORPs then you are not able to use the lid efficiently. Should you be heating liquids then again the lid doesn’t fit the issue Crusader cup. The lid does just fit the Webtex metal cup. I would suggest researching on UTube to make your own lid from an old MOD mess tin!”

“Lids OK, unfortunately it doesn't fit the British Army crusader Cup. How to fix, place on a metal flat surface and hammer the edges flat it's not a bad fit if you do that.”

“Didn't see this review as the screen cut off at the bottom kept it hidden. Wish I had as this does not fit the Crusader cup so I have to use tinfoil or clips. Disappointed.”

“I ordered this lid for a crusader cup, in the mistaken belief that it was a crusader lid. I am hoping that some tinfoil will help it fit. It will work, although I may need to replace the tinfoil from time to time.”
