The popular Plano Military Storage Trunk is now available in a pack of three. This great quality storage box features rugged all-weather construction and four reinforced padlock holes. Also features moulded grooves for sturdy stacking, tie-down brackets on each end and two heavy duty locking latches. External Dimensions: 60.96cm(L) x 38.10cm(W) x 33.02cm(H). Internal Dimensions: L50.8cm by W30.4cm by D29.2cm. Volume: 53L (approx). Weighs: 2380g (empty). Colour: OD Green. “Received these and the blaze colour was exactly what I expected and wanted. Sturdy construction but defo need to have the lid on to gain full strength/robustness. These were bought to replace a run-of-the-mill box that had all my camp cooking / washing items in. This feels like it will take all the knocks and scrapes that life will now throw at it, with an added “ruggedness” that a box from Partners ( that’s how old I am) won’t ever have. Feel that £30 for each box (I bought small) is good given the price of Peli and Yeti. I have Peli’s, but for this application a Peli is overkill so looked for something else. I also have Plano long cases for my air rifles which have stood the test of time. In summary - really impressed and hope these utility boxes perform the same over the years.”

“Overall excellent boxes, great functionality, good clips and locking points. Will buy again in the future, just hope for better packaging! I've had these boxes around 4 weeks and i have to say they are great for what I bought then for. The right size was important as if they are too large you would struggle lifting them when full, these are ideal at 55 ltrs. I have modified them by adding a 3mm x 10mm thick foam seal to the inside of the lid to stop moisture ingress. This also stops unwanted ants etc... My only gripe was when delivered I could hear pieces moving around inside, it seems that stacking them inside each other causes the fins to get snapped off around the top leaving sharp edges. This can only be through rough delivery of the item by the courier, however it really needs a packing blocks between the boxes to stop this from happening. It doesn't affect the functionality of the box and they are strong as I've stood and sat on them and they hold 20 stone no problem! Just don't like damage on items you buy which could easily be avoided with better packaging.”

“Not too big to move around, not too small for loading. Manageable to lift even when full. Very good tough boxes. There is a slight design flaw in the little strips of plastic on the outers that help stack them together. These break off easily, but it doesn't affect the performance of the units themselves in any way overall. Mine all arrived with the little bits broken in transit, this was identified as being due to very poor handling by the couriers. Which was disappointing, but not worth hassle of return for others that could also arrive similarly knocked in transit. Otherwise the units are good and I've bought a few of them now.”
