Bought this for my son, who joined the CCF this year. He's enjoying it and learning a huge amount from it - lots of useful info in an easy-to-use format.

Excellent little pocket aid essential memoire for the soldier. I last had one back in the nineties. I ordered one our of pure interest to see how it had changed. Essentially the same but they've just made them more colourful and product improved. More user friendly. Great to keep on you in combat jacket pocket for junior or new soldier. We used to keep in a plastic bag to waterproof it in the field. Take out for reading matter in safe harbour areas, for odd spare moments in training. Great highly useful item.

As always very pleased with this product. Only criticism is the lack of a CBRN section. Original editions did as I recall include a section on NBC. Apparently not a threat in modern combat it seems.

I purchased the book for my nephew who is a member of the ACF and wants to pursue a career in the Army. The book is well written and provides lots of useful information. I wish a book like this existed when I was in the ACF and when I served in the army in the 60’s and 70’s. I highly recommend this book.

Handy product with many useful bits of info. Shame about the many spelling and punctuation errors - it's not been fully proof read. Also several technical inaccuracies.
