These boots are the best footwear I have ever bought. I have worn them in snow, rain, on sand, and even occasionally rock climbing. They are superb as a general hiking/cadet training boot. They also can be bulled to a mirror shine. I have used these on long hikes in the Brecon Beacons and during over night cadet camps. In my personal opinion, they are superior to your average hiking boot due to their suppleness and breathability. I have never had a blister in these boots, and they have never caused foot fatigue even whilst running. Best worn with thick socks.

I bought these boots from Cadet Direct 10 years ago, I’ve put them through their paces all over the world. Apart from some scuffing and a small rip on the fabric at the heel they’ve held up well. I still use them as a lightweight field boot, I expect they’ll probably last another 10 years!

I recently returned from a large scale company exercise. These boots were strong and waterproof and lasted me throughout the entire exercise and will hopefully do so in the foreseeable future.

I have had mine for almost a year and they still look new apart from a few small scratches on the toe caps. They have been through ACLC, Nesscliff, an annual camp, fieldcraft courses, paintballing and airsofting days and wing shoots (multi positional shoots testing how the leather and nylon fabric stands up to heavy folding and creasing) so far. They are very comfortable, I haven't had any blisters wearing them at all and there only superficial damage with no cause for concern. When polished up well, water has never made its way through the leather or nylon side panels and my feet have only got wet while wearing them because I stepped in a mud patch that was deeper than it looked and water overtopped the boot i.e, it was my fault, not the boot's. The soles are fine and have barely worn down. I would recommend these boots to anyone and I will definitely be buying another pair when they eventually wear out. They are fairly expensive, but it is worth it and I would recommend buying these as your first pair over the standard 'Patrol Boot' as they are more comfortable and better boots in general (I have both and I only use the cheaper option as a back up pair).

These are my second pair of Magnums ... simply worn them out during years and hundreds of miles of Nijmegen training walks as well as other Air Cadet activities. Excellent value, performance and comfort.

I purchased these boots early last year and I've used them for the Nijmegen Training and its been amazing. The boots have been very comfortable and has given me no issues during Nijmegen 2015 and they are still going strong to this date on this years training. For the price I think its worth the purchase.
