I am not quite sure what or who these boots were intended for; they seem to be a commercial offering by Iturri rather than being produced for a nation's armed forces, as their CWW and Patrol boots are for the British armed forces. By the way, Iturri also manufacture the Altberg combat boots. However, they are rather good boots, offering a decent footbed and good ankle support. The sole is not one that I have seen before and I have yet to test it over interesting terrain; until it has proven itself on rock, where the Defender sole on the CWW boots and the Altbergs excels., it will remain one of two things that slightly concerns me about these boots. The other is the lacing; while the boots have "two sector" lacing, the design of the eyelets is rather old fashioned, making setting up the boots rather more difficult than, for example, the Iturri CWW boots. Having pointed out what I see as one issue and one potential issue, I conclude that these boots are excellent value, are very comfortable, seem very strong and should serve well for the vast majority of users. One thing to note is that the sizing seems a bit off; I usually take a UK size 10 in non-CWW boots, but needed an 11 in these; the 10 is ok, but just a tad too cosy. However, I do like a lot of toe room in my boots, so your mileage may vary.

I have struggled to get a good pair of boots without spending hundreds of pounds since the old UK MoD (combat 95) were discontinued. My work involves me being on my feet for 10+ hours per day picking orders and almost every other boot is painful to wear come the end of the shift. Another issue I have had with previous boots is that they disintegrate at the heel internally, give it a month or two, and the material has worn through and the padding is just crumbling, then there is the fit... even when buying over sized almost every boot is too tight/narrow. These, I am glad to say have been comfortable even to the end of the shift, they have not disintegrated either and for the price (currently on a discount) they are a must buy (so I've ended up buying 2 more pairs).

Bought a pair of these boots for my son's ACF activities. Recognised manufacturer name I have come across before of good quality. The boots did not disappoint. Very well made, look good out of the box and accurate sizing. They have a full Goretex lining and are very robust construction. I will be ordering a pair for myself for general use also due to how good these are. Usual fast and efficient service from Cadet Direct. Highly recommended.

Great product and well made boots for the price. Been using these boots for work to break them in. I intend using them for hill walking. Waterproof and comfortable - really pleased so far.

I purchased these to use at work, & I enquired about sizing with Andy Salmon at Cadet Direct, he was extremely helpful, so I made my purchase, these are superb boots, well made, sturdy. I did have a cobbler friend of mine stretch them a little bit, & after 3 days at work, I keep wondering why I didn't get these yonks ago, superbly comfy, warm, almost like wearing slippers! I did change the laces to slightly more chunkier ones, & the insole, but that's just personal preference, at the current half price, these are an absolute bargain for a hardy, built for purpose boot. They polish up lovely, even using cheap boot polish, so you cannot go wrong with these buy them now!

Use these boots for fieldcraft and adventurous training - very good quality, comfortable and my feet are always dry. Would recommend to other cadets.

These boots are well made. I have been in wet long grass, feet kept dry. Plenty of grip on soles. Didn't take much to break boots in, as leather is very supple. I clean mine with water and then a little Renapur (leather feeder). I hope they will last a long time, walk at least three miles a day in them, on and off road. Thank you.
