British Army No.2 dress braces. Features include grey elastic strapping with leather fittings. Fully adjustable. Designed to fit No.2 dress trousers with button fittings. Colour: grey. Weight: 150g (approx). Size: small (height up to 170cm), medium (height 170cm to 180cm) and large (height 180 to 190cm plus). Colour: grey.

“Well made with sturdy elastic, leather ends and good hardware, apart from, that is, the adjusting sliders. As alluded to in another review the first attempt at using these results in their flying apart. Useless to try and reassemble as this would surely happen again, and with the cost of returning the braces sure to make the whole exercise uneconomic I settled for trimming the elastic to the correct length and sewing the braces to this desired measurement. Non-adjustable now but at least they won't self destruct at a possibly inconvenient moment. Better quality adjusters are required, even at this price.”

“These braces are by far the best I have found for all both combats or cargo trousers. They have good quality leather for attaching to to the buttons on the waistband and the right give in the elastic. Rounded up with the great service it's all-round winner.”

“Excellent braces, plenty of adjustment available and the leather attachments are superb quality. Some cheaper braces are inferior quality in this area, these have sturdy leather that will last for some considerable time! Usual excellent delivery by Cadet Direct, can't fault either the item or the company! 100% recommend!”

“These braces are the best on the market, both civilian and military. They are ergonmically superior to the X type and give you more confidence that they will do the job, especially with being three times thicker and twice as wide. The X type just seems to want to slip off your shoulder and end up frequently having to adjust them! The downside is the steel slider sticks and is hard move up and down without hearing the Granad ping where it flies off the two studs and is hard to fix, if at all! Clearly these are for the military market however a black elasticated version would be ideal for the police,security,civilian market. The U.S. would be an ideal market to sell the particularly to ranch hands as they would come in at really competitive price.”

“I bought these braces as they are what used to be available on the civilian market in the sixties. These are four times superior to the nearest civvie equivalent! That is double the thickness and double the width. Also the rear of the braces are a better design than civvie ones as it is one strap as opposed to a double cross over. Unlike the civvie equivalent these do not drop off your shoulder!”
