Genuine British Forces issue sweat rag (NSN 8420-99-975-7529). Specifically designed for use in tropical areas but proving popular with those serving in temperate regions too (i.e. UK and Europe). This versatile polycotton neckwear increases comfort around the neck area by reducing exposure to sun while reducing sweat-related chaffing particularly to those wearing body armour and assault vests. Can also be worn in the evening to help reduce heat loss around the neck etc. Other uses include as a headband, bandana, or liner for the issue helmet. Ideal replacement for traditional scrim scarf.
