Fire Dragon is a new innovative and environmentally friendly solid fuel offering a number of advantages over traditional military solid fuels such as hexamine. Firedragon fuel is odourless when burnt and is easy and quick to ignite using either flint, matches or a lighter. The formulation also ensures low luminosity (ideal for concealment purposes), is soot-free (ease of cleaning pans/mess tins etc) and can be stored safely with food stuffs. It also lights and burns when wet. Can be used in a variety of stoves, including the Crusader Mark 2 Cooker. Fire Dragon is made from natural biofuel and is air transportable. Size: 6 x 27g blocks. “Great for cooking bacon for two, for making soup for two (500ml), or just boiling water for 1 (300ml). The gas stove has been mothballed, this is a lightweight champion.”

“Love the product. The best thing is that it does not blacken your pots or pans. The smell is a bit like petrol for the first minuet of use then stops. Formula could therefore be improved. Amazing product for cadets though.”

“Was on a fieldcraft camp and was issued these to go with a BCB hexicooker and always got meals hot and a lot of hot chocolate. However clean the cooker after you use it as it produces waste that can build up over time.”

“Lighting the fuel gel block was nice and easy, I decided to try with a fire steel and it lit instantly with the first strike! Very impressed, this is definitely a plus for any cadets using it. The gel liquefied and burnt really well, maybe a bit too well to be fair as I had to add another block of gel to get the water up to a boil – This took all of 9mins 35 secs in total but was plenty hot enough to make a brew.”
