The package arrived quickly but was damaged. Luckily the shoes were fine and are very useful for the parade.

I first wore DMS boots when I joined the Army in the late 70's. Although they're not exactly waterproof (Replaced by Combat -Highs in 1983), they're certainly comfortable. Once broken in. They mould themselves to your feet. Once I had gotten through the Government surplus supplies, you could imagine my delight on finding I could buy brand new ones. These boots are my everyday footware. They're solid. Last for around four years, but still not waterproof. Can't have everything I suppose.
