My grandson is a fan of your website and has been badgering his father for these boots for some time. His face was pure joy when he read ‘Assault’ on your box. He wore them at once and won’t get out of them, goes for long countryside walks in them, keeps them cleaned and polished, and says they are super-comfortable.

These boots are sturdy and substantial without being too heavy for my 14yr old (who is very slim). Although marginally cheaper are available elsewhere, the quality is worth every penny. Delivery was exceptionally quick and we will be purchasing any further products we need from cadetdirect.

I cycle two sets of these boots for ACF parade evenings and my ambulance service work, as unlike brown boots, they are easy to polish to a perfect shine and they have that classic 'Army Cadet Force' feel. They've become a bit symbolic of the ACF, and I fell in love with them. I'm in the army reserves and was recently issued with the AKU Pilgrims Altberg Defenders for exercises, and while these are outstanding in every measurable way, I feel I cannot reccommend to a cadet's parent a set of boots worth nearly £200, especially for a pair of boots that will only be used in the field a dozen or so times a year. For that reason I would suggest these assault boots, Magnums or the Delta patrol boots as a morereasonable option. The all leather assault boots ones are easier to maintain than the seude ones for a cadet (and a teenager), and the drill team look down upon fabric boots. These boots are suitable for both parade nights and fieldcraft, so you need only buy one pair if you only wish to buy one, however, your cadet may be upset to dirty his perfectly shined parade boots in the field, and again upset to try and get them up to standard for inspection after a field weekend for Monday parade. I would suggest that's what pocket money is for! Delivery was extremely prompt and Cadet Direct have always been very co-operative with returns.

Just received the boots and took them out of the box.... very light which means the soles and heel are hollow. I think paying £41 should have given something a little more sturdy, however, as they are just for cadet use they might last till his feet grow.

Had them and after two months the sole unit cracked. Cadet Direct gives them a 12 month warranty and they replaced them for a new pair which I've now had for 3 months with no problemos.
