Genuine latest issue Royal Navy wool berets designed specifically to meet full Royal Navy dress regulations and suitable for all Royal Navy personnel and Sea Cadets. Manufactured from 100% wool with real leather headband and 100% cotton textile lining. Also features NATO stock number and twin grommet eyelets for RN and Sea Cadet beret badges (available separately). Shaping instructions included Size: head circumference 52cm to 64cm. “This new style beret is not a patch on the old Kangol-manufactured beret I had before. I wore this on Remembrance parade and when I saw the pics of us marching it looked ridiculous. I have now found an original Kangol beret and I only hope the Royal Navy choose to go back to them too.”

“Since October 1974 when my intake were the first at HMS Ganges to be issued with a beret, and 1980 when I left the Royal Navy, I have not been as proud to wear a good fitting and well made beret. My order was easy to make, delivery was swift and in time for me to parade on the launch this year (2024) of the Poppy appeal and my duty as standard bearer at Lichfield Cathedral.”
