Latest RAF Air Cadet Officers rank slides for the GP Jacket. These slides have been manufactured to the latest specifications with 'RAF Air Cadet' (7mm high lettering) in black embroidery with regulation RAF officers braid mounted on dark blue GP jacket fabric. Sold in pairs. Size: from 9cm x 5.5cm (approx). Weight: 11g (per pair). Colour: RAF Dark Blue with black embroidered lettering.

“Quality good and the price is right but as stated they do not conform to the regs. However, I cannot wear the jumper due to the sensitivity of my skin, so the GPJ is the only garment I can wear over my shirt, and the regulation rank slides for the jumper look so odd on the GPJ. It needs to be amended and soon.”

“As Cadet Direct is the "Approved Supplier" of RAFAC Rank Slides I decided to buy these despite the regs. (now being dark grey rather than black) but everyone wears them anyway.”

“The new and approved design has been implemented in grey but I haven't ben issued any and so I bought these black ones as everyone else is wearing them including our senior officer!”

“Nothing wrong with the product but it does not conform to current dress regulations. The lettering is required to be in grey for it to be worn with the GPJ.”

“It's about time someone developed these GPJ slides. These rank slides are not yet formally approved for use by HQAC and no doubt this will make them come up with a final regulation - well done Cadet Direct!”
