Fortex 333mm Butt Joints are used to cover the vertical expansion joint between two of the cladding boards when fitting the boards on long runs. These injection moulded joints have a matching woodgrain effect finish and allow for a staggered set of joints, a bit like brickwork and a more visually appealing finish as opposed to the H section joint. “My recent experience of these joints is poor because I found them very difficult to use. Trying to use them when fitting in the apex of at the front of my house was almost impossible with only 1 in 3 being successful. I gave up after 1 & stuck the others in with silicone after cutting those stupid tabs off. They look great if you can get them to fit!!!!!”
