The Avon Frame Supported Glazing Bar is a more complete, frame supported system. With its easy-fit UPVC top cap to secure sheets, a robust aluminium core which provides a stronger centre, and benefits from a central channel fixing point, as well as a UPVC base section, which not only looks pleasant but also allows for greater thermal efficiency. This bar can be used successfully with polycarbonate roofing sheet thickness of 35mm. Bar width is 58mm, each base section should be fixed 400mm along its length. Only stainless-steel screws should be used. As standard, this bar is used as a central joint bar. However, if meaning to be used as an edge bar, a separate trim will be required.

“This product worked a treat. The extra width of the bar provided good tolerance for the inevitability of some variation from squareness with rafters and polycarbonate sheets and hold the sheets tightly.”
