“I bought this to replace the stock 13+ year old hop up rubber in my tokyo marui mp5a4, and it is too tight even with a very upgraded gearbox to spit a single BB out, and i'm using vorsk 5.95 bb's, I tried .20's .25's and .30's and not a single one exited the barrel, so i have no idea what went wrong with it but i could not shoot a single round through it, so I modified it and cut the smaller opening off with flush cut snips very precisely and I noticed it is overall shorter than the stock rubber so now i have next to zero compression with it even when adjusting it to sit properly with the aid of silicon oil to slide the hop chamber up over the rubber mounted to the barrel. It's not designed for tokyo marui v2 gearbox aegs like my mp5a4, this gun may of been 280 from factory, but i've just upgraded the entire gearbox with very expensive parts including a shs non linear 110 spring, shs 12:1 gears, with a very nice cylinder head, cylinder, vented pom piston head and full metal toothed poly piston and a shs spring guide and a shs high torque motor, so it should be pushing closer to 350fps or above now as ive not chronod it however this rubber put a dead stop to any round even entering it and it was installed correctly with the guide slot lined up with my barrel, and the hopup section positioned where the top-port of the barrel is. I'm very disappointed with this brand of hopup rubbers and wont ever waste my money on it again, i'll stick with promethius hopups.”
