“I bought a 10kg bag of bedding which turned out to be a smaller package than expected because it is quite dense material. However it was tightly compressed so I only used about one quarter of the quantity to put fresh bedding in the hen house. Too soon to say how the performance compares with the chopped straw I’ve used before, but it looks and smells pleasant and is easy to handle.”
