“I bought these boots to replace an identical pair which had given me great service and which had worn down after a couple of years of regular use on varied terrain. So I knew what I was getting! One criticism is that the laces are just a bit too thick to run easily through the rings. They won’t last more than a month before fraying. I replace them with a thinner make and they work fine. Like all similar boots, they need proofing from time to time to keep them waterproof.”
