“Bought this to try on the floor of the chicken run whilst the girls are inside in the garage during the avian flu restrictions. One of my little chooks wasn;t too sure to begin with but they have all got used to it very quickly. Have found this to be much better than the wood chips and then straw that I tried initially as it clumps together around poos and its then easy enough to crawl in and pick out the poos to keep the run nice and clean. Too rough to use in the nesting box but I am seriously thinking about keeping part of their run covered and continuing to use this once they go back outside.”
