“This is a product that I have used before, and it is a good primer to use on rusty or rust-treated metal, before covering with a Hammerite or other top coat. The only disadvantage with Hammerite is that you need to use a compatible thinners, which is expensive. Otherwise, like me, you can use cheap disposable brushes. If the tin is left open for lengthy periods during use, the paint does thicken due to solvent evaporation.”
