Excellent product, larger than expected so very, very pleased. Fast service an well packed. Four hole mounting was a bonus point, extremely stable. Anyone buying one should make sure to mount it with the base plate square on to the front of the bench. If you mount it with bolts in line with the shaft it will not be able to turn through 360 degrees as I found out too late! Jaws are serrated like most vices, so cut two lengths of 1" alloy angle jaw width to prevent marking on jobs. I also use magnetic Rubber surfaced Jaw inserts. Buy some. The pipe vice is brilliant, I need a bag of walnuts ! On top of the pipe vice there is an horizontal set of "V" blocks I have made a hardwood Male and female mound which allows me to bend tubing for model making perfectly at any angle. This vice is so versatile I am amazed that Record or any one else do not make one like it. Reasonably priced and worth every penny. As you may have guessed I am "Over the Sun" with it, thank you all. Only received twice in a damaged condition so can't remark on product quality due to DPD damaging it twice

Delivery packaging non existent.... Hence received via DPD bent with multiple holes in the original showroom box. Replacement delivery had no further packaging and DPD still delivered despite multiple tears and holes in the box. The plastic straps say 'do not carry with this' and DPD ignored it, hence more cutting into the showroom box. For such a heavy item I went to machinemart to ensure I could check for damage prior to leaving the shop.
