“Hi sorry to say but the background was not black as ordered and the item came with ink print spots on it with a defect in the coating that was reeled off. Need better quality control and item was not protected in the envelope. Cheers”

“Quality of the product was not what I expected. The plate had many little bumps on it, visible and easy to feel, resembling a plate that had miles of bug guts splattered on it. The pictures here are of this plate. I ordered the highest-end finish, the premium protection coating or whatever they call it. I don't know if that is the cause, or if it's an issue with the printing process itself and is unavoidable. I emailed with pictures, asking for a replacement, and asked if a lesser finish would yield a better result. 5 days after I emailed them about it, a friendly, helpful customer service rep placed an order for a replacement for me, at no charge, with no comment on the finish question. Shortly after, the replacement arrived. It was a little better than the first attempt, but still not good, to be honest. Decided it wasn't worth pursuing further. Not as important: I selected the darkest available (black), and it is, at best, dark grey. Not a huge deal. Overall, this attempt to recreate a pretty simple license plate was a miss.”

“I regret to be giving only 2 stars. I was a repeat customer having had good results in the past, but this order was a nightmare. I ordered 2 customized items using the robust website design tool; one 12x18 and one 6x12. Both were listed on the menu and the confirmation as .040” thick aluminum. The signs arrived quickly and the large sign was good but the small one had blurred printing and was made on thin .024” stock. Initiating an email communication from the website got an automated response to which I then uploaded photos. Days later, I received disconnected responses from 2 customer reps each requesting information that I had already provided. Seeing no way to maintain continuity with an agent, I called and started the process again. Skipping ahead, over three weeks I had email and phone contact with 9 different agents. Though polite, all seemed to lack practical knowledge of actual signmaking and were dependent on others to respond authoritatively. I repeatedly requested to simply reprint the 6x12 sign on a piece of .040 aluminum as promised and that it didn’t even need holes or radius corners. In the end, they offered to refund the cost or reprint it but claimed to have no control of the material thickness. This is a company that makes custom signs! I received the reprinted sign a few days later on the same thin stock as earlier and with a crease in the center from shipping. The process took 24 days from receipt of the first shipment to the second.”

“The numbers in the picture/ preview look black when I got the sign the numbers are not black they are dark blue. And in the preview they/numbers are larger.”

“Though I used the guided template lines to align the image to be printed on the license plate, there still was extra white space around the entire image I uploaded. The template I provided did not have that white space and it makes the plates look out of place with the holes not aligning with where the holes were supposed to be.”
