I was a bit nervous about buying this after reading reviews about it being Chinese made, however I have other brands that are Chinese with no problems. Everything was tight and the back-spring was adequate, I'd have preferred it a bit tighter but that's more personal preference than a fault. I have also bought the 301 made in the USA (another supplier) and had to send it back because of a really weak back-spring. Blades were a little dull and required stropping hence the 4, should really be 4 1/2 I guess. As always good service from The Buck Store

I bought this for my son who saw it described in his whittling book as an ideal knife for the purpose... I had it laser engraved with his name as well and he was so delighted with it on Christmas day, we have had piles of wood shavings everywhere ever since. The knife is smallish, but very nicely made (in China) with a well figured wooden handle and blades that are easy to sharpen to a keen edge, but also hold that edge well too. Overall, delighted with the knife and excellent service from the Buck store... Thanks.

Sadly I am not at all pleased with the product. I have a Buck knife, a large two blade knife I used working on deck as a diver in the North Sea and the Persian Gulf, the one I purchased from you does not come up to the mark in Ignore in comparison and the stamp Made In China did it for me, I was buying the knife as a gift for a dear old and valued friend, he would not have been too happy with the knife. Hence my returning the knife for me to have a reimbursement.

It had fingerprints on it, which was disappointing. not sure about how sharp the blades are as it is a gift

Nice tool, which arrived in good time and well packaged. Blades were properly sharp out of the box. Service levels were excellent and the product quality is also extremely good. I will be happy to order other products from The Buck Store and have no hesitation in recommending the product and the company.
