Hello Julie, thank you for shopping with us. Home use chemical peels do not cause the skin to physically shed, they help to gently exfoliate the top, dead layers of skin, if your skin was to physically peel this would mean it has affected the deeper skin layers, leading to a risk of infection, discolouration and scarring so we definitely don't want this from a home use peel. This is explained in the description for the lactic acid but we would have been happy to advise you of this had you contacted us, we offer a full aftercare service to ensure customers get the best from their products.

“When I am disciplined and use this regularly it makes such a huge difference to the surface of my face. The acne from my rosacea clears, my skin feels smooth and just becomes clearer that I can even see my freckles for a growing natural look.
