“Love this cream Also use as a body cream keeps skin firm on face neck and really good for skin on my bust. I have stretch marks on my stomach which when using this are less noticeable. I can tell when I run out and not used for a week as I start getting thinner skin on my forehead. It is a brilliant product as I have really funny skin which doesn’t like many moisturiser as they give me spots. Plus it’s affordable for me being a mum of 2 teenage kids who doesn’t have the budget for expensive big name products. It just shows a Beutician’s actual products work better with more affordable ingredients. They are the professional s they know what works on what skin and after using this lady’s different products for over 2 years I can honestly say they are really good trustworthy products that work. I’m over 40 so I’ve tried them all over the years”

“This is a very good cream. I’ve dropped two star for a couple of reasons. The first is that, compared to the Azulene moisturiser, this is scented and I dislike that. It’s a nice, old fashioned sort of ‘cold cream’ smell but I don’t like my skincare to be scented. The second reason is that this cream (and actually the Azulene) aren’t any use if like me you’re using Retinols or something like Tretinoin. I emailed the team first to ask if they were suitable and they confirmed they were. It turns out they aren’t as they contain a very small (and probably ineffective) form of Vit A and so aren’t suitable for use with others. It causes quite a lot of stinging and I’m having to use La Roche Posay baum instead. The shouldn’t be a problem at all if you’re not using an active like this but definitely worth noting if you are. Otherwise it’s a nice cream.”

We're so sorry to hear you experienced some irritation, the Retinyl Palmitate is used as an antioxidant at a percentage below 0.20 and so it won't interfere with any active ingredients. But active ingredients can leave skin a little more sensitive and as our products do contain a lot of natural ingredients, these can sometimes be a little irritating while the skin is adjusting to an active ingredient such as tretinoin, once the skin becomes more balanced these products would then be fine to use alongside the active ingredient.

As we don't highly scent our products they do have a more natural smell, some people don't mind it, others find it unpleasant. We are sorry to hear you were unhappy with this product.
