Quick delivery, great pads for sprints and hillclimbs. Quick to get to temperature and have a good bite

I had heard a lot of good things about these pads, so after my EBC GreenStuff pads needed to be replaced, I thought I'd give these a go. I can see why these pads are popular, and they're certainly good for fast-road use BUT a word of warning. If your MX-5 is turbocharged like mine, you may not find them suitable for a trackday. I did Snetterton with plenty of meat on the pads (I reckon I had only done about 100-200 miles on the road) and at the end of the day they were pretty much mullered. So much so, that I needed to replace the pads AGAIN, even though I had only fitted them. The inner pad on the nearside was down to the backing plate, but I presume it must have got stuck in the carrier as the caliper piston wound back fine and the sliders were greased. Bottom line: Would I recommend these? Yes but better suited for a car running stock power - close to stock power - or a forced induction car that's not going to be used for track work.

Brake feels awesome, yet to use on track but so far so good! Didn't have to file away the paint on either ends for them not to bind but I'm yet to find a brake pad that doesn't require that especially on an older car
