At 52mm this radiator is a thick boy! Bought to replace a working but rotten original radiator. Requires trimming the fan shroud to clear some hardlines in the engine bay. It's a tight fit with the intake, but the intake doesn't interfere with the fan itself. My thermostat was stuck open, with the stock radiator things were running around 115c under load, and with this radiator my engine couldn't make it above 60c! Impressive cooling performance. After replacing my thermostat the car now sits happily between 83-90c depending on engine load. The welds are high quality and it looks gorgeous in my engine bay. Time will tell if it holds up, but so far I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great radiator. What I did find was that because this radiator was deeper than the stock radiator and the cooling fan sits more proud on the M2 radiator, the plastic "trap" on the stock air intake doesn't now fit in the gap between the radiator and the engine. So I ended up buying a induction kit to get around this.

Product looks good and should do its job no problem but it needs some work to be perfect. My concerns are about fitment, My car is a MK2.5 (NBFL) 1.8vvt LHD (maybe RHD version do not have problems). here are my comments: - Brackets for expansion tank hose are way to narrow. It is impossible to fit stock hose. It makes those brackets useless. - Stock fan shroud leaves big gap on top and bottom of the radiator. I've added some aluminum bars with rivets on fan shroud to fix this. - Lower mounts holes diameter for stock fan shroud is way too big, there is 2-3mm of clearance making the fan asm floating a lot (electrical tape around the cone shaped brackets fixed this easily). - I cannot fit radiator on front holes on car brackets. I had to use the rearward ones. As a result, fan shroud is contacting steering line hoses. I had to trim the plastic cover to provide clearance.
