About Billingham:

Billingham are a family owned company, manufacturing camera bags for the world’s photographers since 1973 alongside a range of leisure and laptop bags. All bags are made in the West Midlands area of England, a region famous for manufacturing. A core reason for Billingham’s longevity is the fact that from the start, the Billingham family were determined that their products would always be made to the very highest standards from the best available materials to provide high levels of protection for their valued contents.

A notable feature of Billingham camera bags is that they are made from a distincive 3-layer waterpoof canvas that never needs reproofing. They also feature genuine top grain leather and solid brass details.

Like any premium product, the quality of materials, design and craftsmanship that goes into creating a Billingham means that it represents a significant investment. It’s important that they don’t just look beautiful, but that they do their job of protecting equipment wherever they are and whatever they’re being used for – year in and year out.

Top quality as usual. I am no stranger to Billingham bags and have several, including the Hadley Large (which will hold my Hasselblad 501cm vertically with a 40mm lens in place), and with which I would been content but for the fact that it cannot accept an accessory pouch -hence my purchase of the Hadley Large Pro. It is now my 'Hasselblad Bag' as it can easily transport the Hasselblad with lens attached + two other lenses (180 & 250); the Avea pouches (previously purchased) hold spare magazines. I have come to terms with the buckle 'arrangement', and appreciate that with the weight now carried this is much the better system, although I cannot understand any advantage in maintaing a leather grip that splits but does not thereby impart any other function.

Number four in my collection of Billingham bags and just like the others is superbly made and designed and will last years. This is such a great bag for taking my photo gear and being able to pack a snack and a drink too. Comfortable to carry, easy to acess gear and the peace of mind knowing that it will keep my gear safe in the rain. Another fantaastic Billingham bag, the brand that I have been using since the 1980's.

A very impressive bag. Having used a Billingham 335 for almost 25 years, I’ve decided to use Leica M film cameras for travel purposes. While the 335 can be taken onboard a plane (provided it’s carried by the strap and not the two grab handles) it’s still a little bulky. Having purchased this large Hadley, I find it ticks a lot of boxes. Almost as much room as the 335, but laid out on a more vertical axis. A good range of colours to suit the purchaser.

This is my 6th Billingham bag/case and as always it's well made and I can tell it will last a long time with care. It's a big bag and I think the straps might make it a little bit of fiddley if using regularly outside but for me it's perfect. I wanted something to store my spotting scope in when not in use. Lockdown made me realise I don't have anywhere to store it properly but didn't want it to get damaged or covered in dust! It fits perfectly with room to spare and the other pockets are great for storing optic related items like the cleaning kit, hide clamp, Allen keys etc. Service was good too and although Billingbags are more expensive than other alternatives, it's worth the price for a good quality bag!
