About Billingham:

Billingham are a family owned company, manufacturing camera bags for the world’s photographers since 1973 alongside a range of leisure and laptop bags. All bags are made in the West Midlands area of England, a region famous for manufacturing. A core reason for Billingham’s longevity is the fact that from the start, the Billingham family were determined that their products would always be made to the very highest standards from the best available materials to provide high levels of protection for their valued contents.

A notable feature of Billingham camera bags is that they are made from a distincive 3-layer waterpoof canvas that never needs reproofing. They also feature genuine top grain leather and solid brass details.

Like any premium product, the quality of materials, design and craftsmanship that goes into creating a Billingham means that it represents a significant investment. It’s important that they don’t just look beautiful, but that they do their job of protecting equipment wherever they are and whatever they’re being used for – year in and year out.

I purchased a Hadley Pro in the late 1990s and it has treated me and its contents very well. One of the small straps tore after about ten years but it still carries well and it has definitely aged better than I have. I've taken it around the world (no extreme conditions) and it's just been great.

I have two Billingham bags, a Leica M Combination Bag and a Hadley Pro. Totally dependable to keep your photographic gear safe and dry. Thank you Billingham.

Got my Hadley Pro in 2004 to accomodate 2 Leica M's and 5 lenses in anticipation for three weeks in Italy. This, in addition to a pair of extra pouches for film which I only attached for travel, not for daily use served me beautufully lugging the two cameras --one loaded with B&W, the other with color- plus three extra lenses, the film needed for the day and assorted accessories, goodies, maps, guides and what-not. This is a very spacious bag that allows perfect organization and fast access to everything. After that trip I learned the need for the shoulder cushion accessory; a much needed addition. This was my 2nd Billingham, having used an Alice previously for another trip to Germany and Russia but it's not as spacious. Now I use it for a Mirrorless and a couple of lenses. Along the way I got me a Pola for an ultra compact and travel goodies, a Digital Hadley for a Fujifilm X100 or a Leica M, 2 lenses charger & batteries and just now I've ordered a Hadley Pro Small for a mirrorless and two/three lenses plus necessities. My most used Billinghams look the part (bruised leather, some difficult stains that have resisted repeated cleaning) but are still as functional as the first day. The bronze studs and rivets are a bit green and darkened but the bags still look elegant and proud. No other bag brand in the world compares. They cost more, sure, but are worth every penny and much more. If you care for your equipment they're a wise *lifetime* investment.

I bought my bag a while ago and it's been my favorite bag to take on small trips. It's held up almost perfectly two years later. The quality and care Billingham puts into their products is felt. It's an investment that pays out every time you use it.

Great camera bag like always from Billingham But not as easy to open now with the studs mounted to flap instead of like my old bag mounted to the main bag body. I wish your made a brown bag with chocolate leather.

Dear Peter Thank you for your 5 star review! I have passed your feedback on to the design team with regards to the studs. We do produce this bag in the Khaki FibreNyte/Chocolate leather - the khaki is a brown colour. Regards Billingham Team

My Hadley Pro is beautifully sized for my Olympus OMD-EM1 II and 'holy trinity' of F2.8 zooms. Superbly put together, practical and looks good, too!
