About Billingham:

Billingham are a family owned company, manufacturing camera bags for the world’s photographers since 1973 alongside a range of leisure and laptop bags. All bags are made in the West Midlands area of England, a region famous for manufacturing. A core reason for Billingham’s longevity is the fact that from the start, the Billingham family were determined that their products would always be made to the very highest standards from the best available materials to provide high levels of protection for their valued contents.

A notable feature of Billingham camera bags is that they are made from a distincive 3-layer waterpoof canvas that never needs reproofing. They also feature genuine top grain leather and solid brass details.

Like any premium product, the quality of materials, design and craftsmanship that goes into creating a Billingham means that it represents a significant investment. It’s important that they don’t just look beautiful, but that they do their job of protecting equipment wherever they are and whatever they’re being used for – year in and year out.

I have used Billingham bags for decades, they are without a doubt the best camera bags on the market, the quality of build and the sheer practicality of the design makes them an indispensable addition to anyone's camera kit.

My Hadley Pro Small arrived today. Not all my cameras have merited being carried in a Billingham, but all my Leicas (and some others) have. Since the almost total domination of the field by the digital medium, specially since I closed my darkroom and shelved my film cameras (among them 4 leicas, IIIf, M2, M6 and MP 2000) I have yearned for a digital Leica. Sadly it was beyond my means until recently that I was able to acquire an M10. On getting it I placed it on my Alice from 1999 and it looked like a bean in a cauldron, the Hadley Pro from 2003 was simply out of the question and the Hadley Digital too restrictive; I then bit the bullet and got me this bag. Worth every ¢ and £, import taxes and VAT included. Not only does it fit the M10 with lens attached properly, but it can hold four other lenses, batteries and charger, plus a plethora of other accessories. While my original Hadley Pro was perfect for two M bodies plus lenses and lotsa film, this one seems to be tailor made for the aforementioned items and still more. Very happy!! (Of course I knew I'd be, even looking forward to the coming years patina).

Great little bag for use with smaller kit ie Leica or a mirrorless system with a couple of lenses. The usual quality I've come to expect from Billingham for over 40 years

The Hadley small is great just right for an M Camera and one lens or two. Still I would go for a Hadley Pro if you wish to carry a notebook and few accessories also.
