About Billingham:

Billingham are a family owned company, manufacturing camera bags for the world’s photographers since 1973 alongside a range of leisure and laptop bags. All bags are made in the West Midlands area of England, a region famous for manufacturing. A core reason for Billingham’s longevity is the fact that from the start, the Billingham family were determined that their products would always be made to the very highest standards from the best available materials to provide high levels of protection for their valued contents.

A notable feature of Billingham camera bags is that they are made from a distincive 3-layer waterpoof canvas that never needs reproofing. They also feature genuine top grain leather and solid brass details.

Like any premium product, the quality of materials, design and craftsmanship that goes into creating a Billingham means that it represents a significant investment. It’s important that they don’t just look beautiful, but that they do their job of protecting equipment wherever they are and whatever they’re being used for – year in and year out.

I purchased a "72" in Khahki/tan for my Leica Q3-43 as I wanted to keep the package small. Fits perfectly! The spare battery snuggles under the lens, and the soft leather Kohutt strap sits above. Spare card in front pocket.

I bought this bag especially for when travelling with one camera. The bag is very well protected and feels great on the shoulder.

I had a Billingham many years ago, stuffed with DSLR kit. It was great but I gave it away with a camera sale and always regretted it. Gradually gave up carting all the DSLR gear around due to having a young family, and drifted in to using phones-only as they got better. A few months ago, fed up with using phones for photography, I bought a nice quality compact. It's perfect but needs protection. I opted for the 72 as I'm much more likely to take that nearly everywhere and that has proved to be the case. Sits really comfortably and you just don't notice it. Carries my compact, the little flash that came with it, cleaning cloth, wallet (on top) and of course, a phone! I have tried it on a belt, but it's a bit too bulky for my liking. However, it's great over the shoulder. It's a perfect little bag and it gives me great confidence that my camera is as well protected as it can be.
