We had a fantastic holiday with our 3 children aged 13,11,8. We loved the vibe of the Lixouri beach club and hotel, much more friendly and personal than a big all-inclusive mega hotel - the hotel owner and his family made us feel properly welcome, the food was lovely and fresh, the dynamic beach club team were fabulous and there was an abundance of kit to use, never having to wait to get out on the water even though it was peak season. The kids loved it and made lots of friends easily without the artificial environment of a formal "kids' club" - would definitely recommend!

Family stayed at hotel Lazaratos near Lixouri and had a great time. Hotel staff were so friendly and helpful with amazing food in relaxed environment. Beach water sports were great fun for all and amazing managed, run and and supported by Jake and his team. Thanks all and see you next year. Thanks Trek!

Just returned from a trek adventures holiday at lazaratos hotel near lixouri in Kafaloni. The hotel is typically ally Greek family run very clean and friendly. The room wa spacious with good aircon and a nice balcony. The attraction wa of course the dinghy sailing. The sailing team are very approachable and helpful. All abilities are catered for. The sailing craft are from the RS range and there are wind surfboards and canoes. You can sail wenever you like within the hour supported. The selling point for me was the relaxed family atmosphere and the excellent service from hotel and sailing team. Well done Trek Adventures.

We stayed at the Lixouri beach club. It’s a brilliant family run hotel with excellent rustic food and welcoming, friendly staff who genuinely want to ensure that you have a great time. The customer service in the Uk was great too and helped us to choose exactly the right holiday. The setting was beautiful with clear, safe water and plenty of choice of watersports and friendly instructors. The other guests were all likeminded, friendly active families and our teenagers loved having a chance to hang out with others in a safe but fun environment. We are already discussing when we can go again! Thank you for such a great week.

Fab week with my grown up family and partners. Brilliant staff in the hotel and on the beach. Plenty of different lessons on different equipment and really good conditions for learning to windsurf. Some of us were very experienced sailors but still plenty of challenge to be had. Loved the communal feel between all the guests as the numbers were so small, felt like a private beach! Definitely would recommend!

We have just returned from a week at Lixouri. The Lazarotus hotel really was as lovely as everyone says. Our room (junior suite 402) was a little tight in size compared to some of the others, but the family were so welcoming it really didn’t matter. The food was fantastic - I especially recommend the fried tomatoes. Nothing was too much trouble. It was really nice to stay somewhere so friendly compared to a big corporate hotel. The Trek staff were also really friendly and welcoming. We are watersports novices, so really appreciated the give it a go attitude. I would suggest it would be good to give us newbies a bit more instruction however. If someone had accompanied us on the catamaran for 10 mins at the start after the onshore instruction we might not have capsized it and damaged the sail (sorry about that!). It was a great trip for our 11 year old daughter - as a single child it was important for us that she had other kids to play with - and it was fantastic how they all bonded over the week. Much better than structured kids clubs and they all had a great time in the hotel pool. A fabulous holiday we will all remember forever. Thanks to Yota and family and to Jake and all the beach crew.

We did a week at Lazaratos Hotel and a week "Learn to Sail". Both weeks were fabulous. We are a family of 5 (children 9 - 14) and everyone learn new skills and loved the holiday. At the Lixouri Beach Club both hotel staff and Beach staff were amazing, so helpful and really really smiley (why wouldn't you be - great weather, beautiful location, great facilities!) - the holiday was exactly as the website/head office described it - a totally relaxing activities holiday. Learn to sail was great, perfect conditions to practise the new skill, again staff were great and really helpful. Can't wait to return and do a flotilla next year.

We had a fantastic week in Lixouri with our 12y old son. We were incredibly well looked after at the wonderful Lazaratos Hotel by Yiota, Kostas, Akis and their families. The Trek beach team (led by Jake) was great fun and v patient! We tried everything from windsurfing to sailing, paddleboarding and even had a go at winging (a lot harder than it looks!). Loved seeing the turtles on the sailaway. Missing happy hour at the beach bar, breakfast and dinner overlooking the bay and lazy lunches by the pool. Thanks for another wonderful holiday - we hope to come back in 23.
