Had the most brilliant two weeks staying at Lixouri Beach Bay Club. I have two very sad girls now as they are totally gutted to be home! They had such a ball with the brilliant beach team who were so friendly, fun and relaxed but very much on the ball with the children safety so I felt very happy sitting on the beach reading my books knowing they were in safe hands. The girls made some lovely friend with other children at the hotel and were out on the water constantly in some form or another. My husband loved learning to sail the dinghies and the morning swim across the bay was a real hit with our 12 year old. The hotel was lovely and very well looked after. It is very relaxed and safe and the hotel team were very good at catering for my daughter who is coeliac. Thank you so much for making it the best holiday and we can't wait to go back. Very much recommend it.

One of the best family holidays ever! Friendly young crew, just the right amount of instruction then the freedom to sail and windsurf. Safety boats out to scoop you up, I felt like our teens were good to go out alone. The team was really approachable and I got lots of 1:1 on the windsurfer. The organised afternoons like the 'sail-away' where our kids sailed us to a little secret beach were memorable. No pressure to get involved if you preferred to lay on the beach though. Excellent hotel run by a friendly Greek family and great food. Totally unpretentious. Loads of lovely sunbeds on the beach, enough for everyone, anytime. Warm sea and a quiet inlet. Beach bar for cold beers, ice creams and snacks. Recommend the new apartments alongside the hotel, had a private balcony and sea view. Would love to go back!

We had a week doing Learn to Sail, followed by a week at the Lixouri Bay Beach Resort - both were excellent! Staff were really helpful, well trained and willing to go the extra mile - I would definitely recommend either as a separate holiday but taking the second week was bliss. Hotel staff (family run) were friendly, food was perfect for a family with mixed tastes and Lixouri town was just down the road. Well worth it and I would recommend.

Had a fantastic family holiday at Lixouri Bay with Trek Adventures. Great range of equipment on the beach for all sailing and windsurfing abilities. Really friendly and helpful team running the beach and hotel. Safety-boat patrolled sailing area was a magnificent 1km x 1km. Hotel room was well equipped, comforable, and immaculately cleaned. Can't reccommend highly enough.

This place is an absolute gem. We are a family of 4 with kids age 7 and 10. we were total novice sailors but had the best week. I would highly recommend this as an active but relaxed holiday. Hotel - Family run and high standards of cleanliness, recently fitted bathroom and kitchen area. lovely dining area on the top floor with amazing sea views. Hotel Manager was always on hand and happy to help with any query Pool - Moderate size with shaded eating area. very well kept Food - good 'continental' breakfast and traditional greek food for the 'dine in' nights. local town has a good selection of restaurants which is a 10EUR cab ride. Lunch available from hotel at reasonable price and good quality. Sailing & windsurfing - As absolute novices there was good tuition available to us. The instructors were always on hand to give advice and tips and would often pass in the safety boat to check all was ok and give a few tips. Safety standard was high and constant chatter on the radios to make sure everyone in sight and being looked after There was around 50 /60 people in the hotel the week we were there. Lots of availability of Boats (Zest, Quest, Cats etc) never had to wait more than a few minutes to get out in a boat and my 10 year old was helming independently by the end of the week The conditions were uncrowded (large sailing area) and the afternoon wind picked up like clockwork around 2pm. We had a couple of mornings with no wind, but good for SUP's and kayaking Overall, huge thanks to the trek adventures team for a holiday to remember

Just returned from an amazing time in Lixouri! The location, hotel and beach were fantastic. A friendly welcoming family run this lovely hotel and the beach team were brilliant who were always there to help and advise making our holiday so enjoyable! SUP/Sailing/Windsurfing was excellent thanks to some great weather conditions. Would highly recommend hiring a car as cost of a taxi can mount up. Team behind Trek made booking easy, prompt replies to any questions/queries were gratefully received. A great holiday experience all round. Thank you!

My daughters (16+23) and I had a fabulous week , sailing almost all day, every day, supported and encouraged by a relaxed team at Lixouri Bay. The Greek family hotel was welcoming and cooked delicious meals. Our day sail on a yacht broadened our horizons, it was well run and personalised-THANKYOU!
