“For our first sailing/flotilla holiday we were in very capable hands, thanks to the excellent Trek team. Having previously attained my ICC day skipper with Trek in Lixouri (thanks to Shirley!), we booked the stay/sail package, comprising a week at one of their adopted hotels near Lixouri (The Lazeratas), which together their beach club team was near perfect. Then, the flotilla week was equally fantastic, both for the way it was organised and the stunning environment. It’s a beautiful part of the world and with the ever-resourceful and cheerful Will and Anna from Trek providing help and guidance whenever needed, we had a fantastic time. Many thanks to the entire Trek team, including Mark back in the UK whole was very helpful to us in the run up to our holiday.”

“We are just back from a two week holiday with Trek, our first week was the flotilla in the Ionian and second week was at Lixouri Bay Resort. All I can say was they were both fantastic. We are a family of 5 and the kids hadn’t done much sailing, the flotilla was perfect for them to get used to life on a yacht. The skipper and hostess were just amazing (thank you Will & Anna!), really welcoming, friendly and fun! I have been in the Ionian before and knew the area quite well, they organised a fantastic route with plenty of great anchorages, some evenings we were in a marina/harbour, other nights stern to the shore in a beautiful bay sleeping under the stars. They seemed to know all the best restaurants and places to go, There were only 4 boats in total which meant made it really personal and lovely for the kids who got to hangout with other children on the flotilla. Then we went onto Lixouri Bay, where again we had a brilliant time. The hotel is family run and you get to know all the staff well as it’s so small and personable. The food is fantastic, the sailing facilities and tuition was just superb, Jake who runs the sailing team made sure there were enough activities for complete novices or experienced sailors. The equipment was excellent and it was a delight to have all the boats rigged for you! We were amazed to find that a lot of the guests were on their 3/4th visit to the hotel, which speaks volumes! We will definitely be booking again next year. It was a perfect family holiday and can’t thank everyone at Trek for making it so special.”

“Back again for our 9th flotilla. This time we were the first and only participants due to Corona. Everyone at TrekAdventures were wonderful in accommodating us despite the difficulties. Booked to return in August and hope to meet many more participants.”

“Another fantastic week with Trek Adventures; this is our third year in a row and we have already booked for next year. Matt and Steve are amazing Flotilla leads with the perfect balance of guidance and freedom With some outstanding moorings - we learnt so much this week. Great communication from everyone In the company - you do feel very well looked after. Can’t wait for next year.”

“Trek Adventures is a rare gem - a company that made customer service and satisfaction a priority, both when booking the holiday, and during our amazing 2 weeks in the Ionian. Booking was made easy by being able to discuss our preferences directly by telephone, and we also received very quick responses to our Covid related queries. Once at Paliki Beach, all the family loved the relaxed approach to using the water sports equipment. Nothing was too much trouble for the beach staff, who were constantly friendly and positive. There was always a dinghy or board available, no queuing or waiting needed, and this, plus the great Apolafsi facilities of the pool, pool bar and taverna meant the whole family felt very relaxed and well-looked after. We thought Paliki Beach was good, but our second week on the flotilla was even better. Taxi transfers were arranged for us so we could share the cost with other families. Our yacht was very comfortable and well equipped. Matt and Steve in the lead boat were so helpful, professional and friendly. Their briefings and help took any stress out of deciding routes, and mooring up, and the whole family enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing week sailing round some beautiful islands. We will definitely be booking with Trek Adventures again and highly recommend them.”

“We’ve had a great experience with our holiday with Trek Adventures this year. The quick email response to queries and clear communications were really appreciated, particularly with all the pandemic situation going on. Everything at Paliki beach resort was fantastic - the beach house, pool, restaurant , beach team and equipment was all brilliant. Matt and Steve excelled as flotilla leads and we had a wonderful week exploring the Ionian islands with them. I couldn’t recommend Trek highly enough. Thankyou”
