“I wanted to return a 2 x 2 unopened sheet of vinyl flooring as plans had changed and this was no longer suitable for needs. I expected to pay the return cost (which was about £15) but was quite shocked to read that an additional 25% would also be deducted from my payment as it was a bespoke cut to size piece. If this is the policy then at least show a warning at checkout that this will be the case, no one reads every return policy in detail but warning customers this is the case beforehand at the checkout point would at least have prevented me from ordering in the first place! Also factor VAT into your purchase as this only appears at checkout! I have requested that a warning is added for bespoke items to prevent other unsuspecting customers falling into this trap!”

Sheet vinyl is cut to your required size which means that the flooring is bespoke to your room. Everyone's rooms are different sizes and tastes vary therefore once your item has been returned there is no guarantees that we will be able to resell the flooring. The flooring is also likely to be relisted as a remnant which is normally priced at a reduced cost due to the flooring being handled. When placing the order before you make any payment it asks to confirm that you have read, understand and accept the terms and conditions of the sale. Details of the returns policy and other information you may need to be aware of is all explained in the terms. By placing the order and ticking the box to say you have read the terms this is you confirming that you accept the terms of sale including the returns procedure. The charge from the courier will vary dependent on which one you use and the size of your order. We are unable to refund any returns that are received damaged. By arranging your own courier this ensures that you are covered by insurance if the order is damaged during transit. We recommend Transglobal Express to arrange your return. This is a courier comparison site and return costs are very competitive The prices that you see online are already including VAT. When you place the order there is a breakdown of the flooring showing you what the VAT cost is but this is already included when you choose the sizes online. “The flooring is lovely, good quality, the low rating is due to the delivery, item wasn’t delivered on day I chose, no communication regarding this from dx I had to contact them, I had to reschedule delivery for the Monday”
