Float operated ball valve to BS 1212 Part 1. The body and arm is brass, with a copper riser tube, plastic piston and seat. Float arm is 8" to 10" long and accepts a 5/16" threaded float (float is not supplied).

“These are great for the older type cisterns. In my opinion these copper and brass float valves are far superior to their plastic counterparts plus it's always better coupling onto a brass thread as opposed to plastic. It's a pity BES don't supply the low pressure versions as bottom entry as you can't just change the hp orifice for a lp one as the piston diameter doesn't allow this. They do however have a side entry lp version and as such you can interchange the valve workings.”
